Phuket Beach variations
The variations of beaches on Phuket island and the area towards Krabi goes over a wide spectrum and especially attractive are the beaches on the limestone islands of Phang Nga Bay, the Krabi province, and the Phi Phi Islands.
Real action beaches on Phuket island are Patong Beach, Kata Beach and Kata Nui Beach. The Kata Nui Beach is the best in Phuket for surfing. Plus Phuket ‘s Nai Yang Beach the great Kite Surf destination in Phuket.
Other beach areas of Phuket are quite quiet. Karon beach is a particular example. Even in the high season one can still find a quiet place on the beach, another similar is Mai Khao beach and Nai Thon Beach, the latter are in the north-west of Phuket close to the Airport, but if you are there you won’t hear the noise from Phuket Airport.
Crude and fine sand of a light yellow color is the dominant color of all the Phuket beach landscape around. There is no gravel beach, if stones are around on a Phuket beach, it’s always some limestone popping up or granite boulders.
Sometimes the color of the sand on Phuket beaches becomes quite white, actually, that means its colorless then since white is not a color.
